This leads me to believe there is a USB debugging step I still need to enable even though I'm in Dev Mode and also Dev Channel. I absolutely cannot find the Slate listed in Device Manager, and I also connected it to my Mac instead and ran a lsusb command but could not find it connected there either. I downloaded what I think is the correct driver (any help with locating this to validate?), and the instructions I could find online tell me to open my device manager and look for my Slate, and I can install the driver that way This steers me towards (along with a DeskDock prompt) checking out the drivers to see if they're installed/updated. When I do get this to work (seemingly by luck after trying try to kill-server/start-server a few times), I try to detect devices in ADB with " devices" command-line, but get a blank "List of devices attached". Slate client is running, hangs up on "Connecting"Īdb server version (32) doesn't match this client (41) killing.Slate is connected via left-side USB-C (confirmed this is the port for debugging) to my PC's USB 3.0 port directly on the MoBo (no hub).Developer mode and Developer channels are enabled (OS verification off, I get the boot loader on startup).I'm already running Synergy between a PC and Mac btw, this would be adding (interested in the Synergy options available in Deskdock too).įrom what I can tell, I'm stuck at a step where: These are hard limits I can't incorporate currently. ![]() Alternately, if anyone has any other ideas that don't involve a KVM or a multi-bluetooth KB/Mouse, please let me know. DeskDock is an Android app with a PC server-side program with the intention of sharing KB and mouse. I really tried to do my due diligence with this one, but kept coming up short.īecause of the orders to work from home, I'm trying to share KB/Mouse with my Slate as a part of my regular workstation setup. If tech support style questions like this aren't allowed in the sub, just lmk and I'll post elsewhere. ![]()
